This site is sponsored by the Friends of the New Mexico Youth Challenge Academy Association. The New Mexico Youth ChalleNGe Academy (the NG is capitalized to reference our affiliation with the National Guard) provides alternative Education in a  quasi-Military environment for High School dropouts 16-18 years of age.  Experienced Military Staff provide cadets with training and guidance. Cadets  learn self discipline and motivational skills  which will reward them through the remainder of their adult lives. Self discipline, simply put, causes success.
